Volunteer Application Tips:
BASS COAST VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
Volunteers are required to commit:
24 hours during the event. (3 x 8 hour shifts scheduled between: Thurs. July 10 - Sun. July 13)OR
32 hours pre / post event. (4 x 8 hours shifts.) These would be 4 consecutive shifts scheduled between June 30 - July 9 OR July 14 -18, depending on your availability.
Volunteers are required to pay a deposit which will be refunded after shifts have been completed. All volunteers must also pay an non-refundable administration fee of $61.93 that will cover:

By submitting your completed application and volunteer deposit, you confirm your commitment to the selected dates. Please verify your availability for all specified dates before submission, as changes to availability cannot be accommodated after processing. Your manager uses the availability you fill out to make your schedule, so please try to make it as accurate as possible.APPLICATIONS WITHOUT A DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.For those on the Bass Coast payment plan, your selected dates are confirmed with the first initiated payment. Please remember, the payment plan option closes April 15. All payments must be finalised before the festival begins to secure your participation. Failure to complete the payment plan may result in the inability to volunteer at Bass Coast.If you choose to pay a full deposit, please ensure you complete the payment within one week of submitting your application. If for any reason you are not selected to volunteer, you will be issued a full refund.

International Volunteers:Only applicants with Canadian Citizenship or those legally eligible to work in Canada will be considered. If you are an international applicant you must have a Working Holiday Visa currently in place.

Super Volunteers work longer hours (40 hours pre/post event or 32 hours during the event) and are interested in gaining professional experience in event production.
Super Volunteers receive a personalized letter of recommendation from Bass Coast's co-founders and other unique perks.

All volunteers must be available during showtime (Thurs. July 10 - Sun. Friends who apply together, submit fees within the same time frame, and match their schedule and team preferences have a higher chance of being placed together.

VOLUNTEER DEPOSIT Volunteers are required to purchase a VOLUNTEER DEPOSIT of $503.28 (all inclusive of ticket price+tax+service charges) or initiate a payment plan upon application. The $61.93 administration fee (included within total deposit amount) is NON-REFUNDABLE. A total of $441.35 will be refunded through Bass Coast ticketing company to the purchasing credit card upon completion of all shifts. Volunteer deposits are non-transferable. If for any reason you are not selected to volunteer, you will be issued a full refund. Please ensure that your volunteer deposit is purchased using the same email address as this volunteer application. No tickets are generated with this purchase. Our Volunteer Coordinator will be in contact with instructions on how to check-in at the festival site.
